Tuesday

Hello!
A very busy had by all today! Weather was mixed but didn't stop the fun. James proved he has great aim with a rifle! Mr Hughes and Amy faced the challenge of the giant swing from the highest point, although Mr Hughes won't be rushing to do that activity again any time soon! Dylan gave 100% in every activity whilst Elis had tadpoles tickling his toes in the kayak! Maybe they were the babies of Fred the Frog who paid us a visit this evening at our cabins! Jess Davies faced her fear on the zipwire, screamed throughout but loved it! Had lots to eat throughout the day including hotdogs, lamb rogan josh and cottage pie. Campfire was our evening entertainment tonight. Lots of fun, laughing and singing silly songs. Just having supper and diary time, will blog again tomorrow!
Bye x

Wednesday

Hi!

Weather much better today, a lovely morning had by all groups. Well done to group 5 for abseiling really well even though it was scary to begin with! Kayaking with group 1 and 2 was a brilliant session where Tushar demonstrated a natural talent and Nimra and Paige were very brave and put in lots of effort! Afternoon's kayaking sessions with group 3 and 4 went well with Miss Edwards and Mr Hughes joining in the fun! Sean had the time of his life on the lake and doesn't want to leave! Group 5 all zipwired without hesitation and then it was off for tea! Roast dinner tonight with crumble and custard for pudding! Its been lovely to see the sun shining today and we've also been praised by PGL staff for our excellent behaviour! Just topped up cabin supplies at the tuck shop and tonight's evening entertainment will be a physical and mental challenge called 'Splash!' We may need an early night tonight,(the teacher's think and hope). Another busy day ahead tomorrow with a raft building challenge for everyone amongst other exciting activities! Blog again tomorrow! X

Thursday

Hi

Earlier start and everyone more difficult to wake. Day began with racing about on the quad bikes - Alice liked a particular set of rubber tyres, crashing into them on every lap.
Lots of children enjoyed success on thel climbing wall - Olivia Holmes was especially brave after lots of encouragement from her friends.
Scott was a star on the giant swing, again with the support of his group he gained the confidence to take it to the top.
This afternoon saw every group pulling together to build successful rafts - a real team effort. After rafting they hit the showers but Ashley forgot that he would need clothes to return to the cabin :)
Now we are at the disco. All of the girls have made an effort as have most of the boys. We are all having a fantastic time before unfortunately having to pack.
