Wrexham Children's Univeristy is the first of its kind in Wales, and is committed to giving recognition to Wrexham's busy children who engage in activities ouitside of normal school hours.The purpose of the Wrexham's Children's University is to promote the whole child and to award credits for participation. Credits can be achieved by participating in a range of modules organised by the school and organisations around the Borough. For each hour completed a credit is given and these accumalate within each sector of the Children's University. On completion of each activity, children are rewarded with a module certificate, the credits are then banked and go towards achieving bronze, silver and gold awards. High profile ceremonies are held to celebrate and recognise children's achievement in the form of graduation ceremonies, completer with cap and gown!
